Funding for the Larkspur Chamber of Commerce is derived from membership dues and revenues received from events such as the Larkspur Winestroll. Additional funding comes from the City of Larkspur in the form of TOT funds. The City sets aside one-tenth of its annual Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT), or hotel tax, in a fund titled the “TOT Fund” for the purpose of supporting the business community, particularly the downtown. The Chamber uses the funds for membership development and retention, event hosting, marketing and communications, and organization expenses.
